I know this is unfortunately typical with silverado's

I have a 2013 5.3 4x4 with 150k miles The leak is starting where the metal. The flexible hose sections of my engine oil cooler send and return lines have started leaking at the crimps holding them on the rigid lines The only official option is to replace the whole thing with new oem lines, but that involves dropping the front axle and they will likely just fail again in the same spots.
